1948 EG RARE ORIGINAL PALESTINE AID BOND ISSUED UPON 1948 BIRTH OF ISRAEL! KING FAROUK VIGNETTE 10 Pounds Crisp Uncirculated

This very unusual and extremely historic bond was issued during the first Arab-Israel War in 1948 which erupted due to the declaration of the State of Israel! It was issued in Egypt and features the portrait of then King Farouk, one of the most famous rulers of the 20th Century! (note the Crescent and Star symbols flanking his portrait).

The bond reads 'SAVE PALESTINE' in Arabic. Original folio may be attached at the left. Serial Number may vary.
