HISTORIC ORIGINAL TITANIC STOCK CERTIFICATE! RARE COBALT BLUE COLOR (Our EXCLUSIVE!!)

This beautifully engraved stock certificate was issued by JP Morgan's International Mercantile Marine Co. which owned White Star Lines whose ship the Titanic was the most magnificent ocean liner ever built - until its fateful sinking in 1912. Created by the American Bank Note Co. this beautiful deep blue gem depicts the great ship at the top and a lady with an anchor at the bottom. It is hand signed by the Vice President and Treasurer of the company. As per the central text, the stock was engraved in 1902. The date of issue is between 1917 and 1920 which is THE earliest available on the collector market for less than $1500-$2000 (going price for a pre-sinking stock with same design).

Generally clean and still quite crisp but may have light folds and either pinhole cancellations spelling out 'JPM' (JP Morgan) or small punch hole cancellations 1-2 of which may hit the ship. A certificate without any cancellations in the vignette at all is available for $59.95 (please email if not currently listed). An old broker's transfer slip with revenue stamps may be attached in back (can be removed).
